Why it might not be such a bad idea to buy travel insurance!!!

You just booked a trip.  Broke the budget a little bit, but oh well, you only live once, right! And now your travel agent "strongly recommends" buying travel insurance.  They give you a whole list of reasons why it is a good idea and specifically mention the ash cloud that has wreaked havoc on tens of thousands of travelers around the world as, "an event you just can't plan on happening!"  You're still skeptical and tell your travel agent, "let me think about it."

Here's a list of funny stories to read while you are "thinking about it," that just might make you think twice when deciding NOT to buy travel insurance.  I thought story #5 was particularly amusing...not to say that I get enjoyment out of other peoples pain or anything.
